About

EMMET KIERANS

Born in Ireland in 1981, Emmet Kierans is a graduate of the Limerick School of Art and Design and the Glasgow School of Art (First Class Honours). His work is held in the collections of the Arts Council of Ireland, Trinity College Dublin, and the Office of Public Works (Ireland), as well as numerous private collections in the UK, Europe, and the USA.

He has exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts (London), the National Gallery of Ireland, the Royal Hibernian Academy (Dublin), and the London Art Fair. His recent solo exhibitions at the Bomb Factory Art Foundation—Second Nature (2022) and Happy Ever After (2025)—confirmed a dreamlike figurative practice informed by cinema, memory, and the collective imagination.
